I'm an Interaction Design graduate from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, currently a Product Designer in the Web 3.0 space for Shape.
My work focuses on designing digital experiences that allow people to express themselves creatively and connect through their individuality. By combining interactive art / design and UX research, I value pushing the boundaries of modern forms of self-expression.
In my free time, you can find me painting portraits, drawing Astrogirls, and experimenting in 3D! 🍧
Product Designer | Shape Immersive
I lead product and UI/UX design at Shape: an award-winning innovation agency that empowers brands, retailers and NFT companies to deliver best-in-class experiences through 3D, Virtual & Augmented Reality. In the first 3 months, I designed and successfully launched a fully functioning 3D AR NFT marketplace for our client One Little Planet, in multiple languages and countries with our team of developers.
Service Designer | Government of B.C.
I worked in the Service and Content Design team in the Government Digital Experience Division, leading UX research with citizens for the Government of British Columbia to embed human-centred design in BC Public Service. I redesigned and launched the early childhood educators digital application service on the BC provincial website. I was also a lead Service and UX Designer on a relaunch project for the BC Parks website.
Research Assistant | Health Design Lab
I worked as a researcher/designer on the Pharmacogenetics - Tailored Health Project in collaboration with Telus Health and the Digital Technology Supercluster, designing better PGx risk assessment software and medication decision support software within primary healthcare electronic records and pharmacy management systems.
Interactive Art Exhibitor | Science World
I was lucky enough to work with TELUS World of Science to exhibit my project (E)ntity in the Eureka! Gallery.
I coordinated the exhibition with a cross functional group of Science World directors, designed the exhibition posters and promotional material, and attended and demonstrated to all visitors in the Recollections Space.
